Life Unstuck by Pat Layton

If you're anything like me at all you will connect with this book. Pat Layton is awesomeness all bottled up in a girlfriend.

First, let's talk about the cover. I LOVE it. I'm always stepping in gum, and you know what, just like in this photo, the gum isn't always easy to detect until you're completely stuck! Ah, and the flowers. Of course, as Pat shares with us, where we get stuck, God forever plants flowers around us, so we can learn and grow into the girl He has created us to become.

I was taken with the stories that Pat shares. It's refreshing to see such an honest perspective and a woman who isn't afraid to share her messiness so that others can learn. She has a passion for Jesus and it's clear in her penned words that God has her on a mission to touch the heart of women everywhere.

Pat gives us a fresh look at Psalm 139. Oh, sure, we have read it, but do we ponder there long enough to hear the Lord speak to our soul? Pat is encouraging and inspiring. This is a great selection for any woman of any age. Great life lessons shared and she points us to living a life of freedom, seeing our purpose, and knowing we are loved!

Unstuck women think differently.
Unstuck women tap into what is good and think on that.
Unstuck women follow faith.
Unstuck women look for the good in all situations.
Unstuck women bounce back from failure.
Unstuck women face challenges differently.

Rest is exchanging our frenzy and frustrations, our hurry ups and anxiety for His unruffled peace and His strength. God wants to show how His "thoughts of you" drop right into the middle of your daily to-do list. God's rest and restoration leave us with a divine sense of destiny and the knowledge that God is up to something in our life.

This is one to read and pass on to your girlfriends or spend time over coffee reading it together.

This book was a gift from Revell for sharing my review with you.
